Your Needs Our Services

Social Support Groups are a great way to remain socially active and engaged in your community. You can make new friends, explore new interests and improve your wellbeing.
Social Support Groups meet each week or fortnight and they undertake activities of interests including the arts & crafts, woodwork, card playing and games, gentle exercise, bocce, listening to music, singing, information sessions, birthday and many other celebrations.
Social Support Groups also go on regular community outings and bus trips which are very popular - for picnics, to restaurants, to museums and places of interest.

Our groups include:
Croatian Men’s Group MON 10am – 2pm. For men living in the City of Casey
St Albans Social Group TUE 12.30 – 4pm. For people living in the City of Brimbank
Golden CRO Hills TUE 10am – 2pm. For people living in the City of Casey & neighbouring LGA’s
The Northerners WED 10am – 2pm. For people living in the Cities of Whittlesea & Hume
Foostcray Social Group FRI 10am – 2pm. For people in Hobsons Bay & Maribyrnong
Wild Roses FRI 10am – 2pm. For women living in the City of Dandenong & Casey

Our Social Support Groups are held in comfortable and safe venues. People with a special needs and abilities are catered for. Food is provided and included in the small fee, except on some outings, additional costs.
Our groups are provided under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) which provides entry level support for older people to remain living independently at home.
